Rocket League to Get Steam Workshop Support in December

User-created arenas to add variety to Psyonix's prolific car soccer game.

According to a news post from Psyonix, the ever-popular Rocket League will be getting Steam Workshop support in December. This means that user-created levels will be able to be imported and played on the PC, Mac, and SteamOS platforms.

The RocketLeagueMods subreddit already has user-created arenas, but by implementing Steam Workshop support, playing on those levels should be a much simpler experience. Check out the Rocket League Obstacle Course, or the Dribbling Challenge as examples of what will be coming in December.

Once the Workshop support has been implemented, playing on user-created levels will reportedly be as simple as subscribing to new arenas in the ‘Coming Soon’ section of the Rocket League Steam Community Hub.

Once subscribed, players will be able to access user-created levels via the Extras menu in-game.

In other Rocket League news, Psyonix has been considering a patch to take advantage of the PS4 Pro’s increased power, a new training mode has been released to help you perfect your advanced maneuvers, and the devs discussed the "difficult" decision to give it away on PlayStation Plus.

This is pretty cool. Been playing Rocket League on Xbox One. Rocket League was the only online MP i was playing on the console. Now that my gold expired I'll just buy the PC version of Rocket League and enjoy no-fee online and user made arenas :)
