Rockstar "working around the clock" to fix GTA Online issues

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY A HOUSE TODAY! At least with the money added in from your other property!!! once the game saves it will not save the new property AND YOU WILL LOSS EVERYTHING!

Rockstar sold out. If you dont agree let me tell you what ive noticed. the game freezes, crashes during missions, deletes saved games, and kicks you off unexpectedly. Instead of fixing these major game changing issues, they instead fix things like changing a mission so that we can not replay it only because the high amount of money you can make in a short period of time. So instead of fixing issues that prevent people from playing, they want to keep people from making high amounts of money. If we want to but the very expensive properties they offer, we have to either pay out of our pocket or play for a massive amount of time. I know for a fact that if rockstar wasnt selling the money they would be fixing the important errors.

I'm guessing this is the reason for the Xbone backlash, always online is great until it doesn't work...having that taken away from you leaves you with? Lucky the single player game is sweet but....honestly your customers deserve better R*

Stuck at the freaking racing session and now I saw that people say "don't go online yet." Which makes me shocked!

WARNING!!! Even if you can get online to actually load. DON'T DO IT. Your character will just get deleted due to cloud save problems. Until it is properly fixed in a few weeks STAY AWAY FROM ONLINE. I just lost my lvl 10 character and the online was working just fine for me until I tried to quit.

it's been 2 days and I still can't play I just get stuck at the "launching session" screen and that's it.

the funny thing is that when i got online there was alot of people playing it too not 10 not 20 but alot oh and i play in ps3

Still not managed to play yet. Create a character is as far as I've got in 2 days. And if the game is as ugly as the characters you create (man what a convoluted way to be forced to make some really fugly characters) then I'm not sure I'm going to be that bothered anyway.

This game has been nothing but a fucking shitload of lies and false promises. At least the campaign is worth the money, but all those fake fucking trailers, waiting for everyone to buy their game/not cancel pre-orders before they announce that fucking currency card BS for the online ,broken online with limited content which almost forces you to purchase cards if you want to progress. GTAV was and is my first and last Rockstar game.

Good thing I'm not even halfway through the story, at least I don't think I am. I am just about to go on my second heist(first one with Trevor). Yeah, I'm a bit slow at progressing especially with huge open world games like GTAV where I just want to soak up everything in the game. I very rarely go for online play(Dark Souls and Demon Souls being the only games off the top of my head I know I played online). Even if I felt I had my fill of single player, I would still wait until they have it up and running as smooth as it will get.

mindless anger and irrational hatred aside, this is what company's do to save money, it's wrong, i don't agree with it, and frankly rockstar should have damn well known better!!!

all the big gaming company's in the world now are just money hungry, greed driven heartless, soulless, corporations that treat there customers like fools!!

GTA will be the last console game i play, i'm sick of being treated like just another mindless walking wallet with no ability to control what i buy other than what the next big money grabbing games dev pushes my way, with a game in one hand and the other in my pocket stealing my money and my pride !!!!!

I just wish others would open there eyes and brains to the state of the industry and stop forking out money hand over fist for sub standard products!

Why has this become so acceptable in the gaming world? any professional doing any other job would be embarrassed if they performed like this.......

Just have to wait, hopefully they can fix the other issues regarding the single-player campaign as well.

FFS Rockstar, if you actually KNEW and EXPECTED that issues would arise from the Online mode from the get-go, wouldn't you have done everything in your power to fix this shit prior to the two fucking weeks that this mode was on hold? 1 BILLION $(and counting) and what did you do? yea also id like to say something about the people dissing this game just for the online ordeal. i dont believe its a bad developing team. they did great from where they came from all the way from GTA1 upto now and u know what this isnt the first time stuff like this woulda happened. remember.. this is San andreas.. and.. GTA4 put together u really didnt think there was going to be problems? then i think your just as stubbprn as the rest of them

GTA5 failure, so R* is just like any other developer, they have the ability to take a high potential game and bang it down into the ground.

I am hugely disappointed with this game, I played the campaign avoiding driving as much as possible (because driving is plain crap) and now online is also unplayable.

Welcome to the band of poor developers R*. Such an awesome world and so many flaws attached to it.

@smoothyplum26 @fetcherr its obvious you have no clue about how cloud servers work and your one of the kids crying, like i said its version 1.0 of online mode of course there going to have bugs, and go do something dude get off your xbox for once stop trying to connect every second of your day, and if PSN has there own server problems it has nothing to do with rockstars end and rockstar can do nothing to fix it for them, if thats why your upset stop wasting your money on consols that play on unsecure networks.

all the comments of ppl whining is whats the most pathetic, dont you have something else to go do while they fix there servers? or does your lifes really revolve around a game, and the comments saying like they never learn and blah blah release a game that works and blah blah you cant release a project and have everything go smooth from there without problems every game released has bugs that had to be fixed, its not like they just released the first version of gta online and stopped they have been working on it non stop, they promised a release date for online and stuck with it they didnt say it would not have any problems and bugs to fix, get real ppl, they have developers fixing the bugs and programmers installing more servers let them update it and stop crying so much.

Annnd their clock goes from 10am to 4pm eastern time, with 2 hours of lunch.
