Rockstar's Red Dead zombies, Zombie's Blacklight: Tango Down hit PSN
PlayStation Store Update: Rockstar Games' content expansion for Western joined by Blacklight: Tango Down, Superstars V8 Racing; PSP catalog adds Bakugan, WWE 2011, Z.H.P: Unlosing Ranger.

Sony's virtual marketplace adds a host of new titles and content expansion packs this week. Interestingly, the two most prominent releases have ties to the shambling dead.
Leading the zombie charge this week is the Undead Nightmare pack ($10). The expansion is built around a single-player campaign that sees players again riding as John Marston and tasks them with finding a cure to the "highly infectious undead plague" that has ripped through the game's environments. Additionally, Undead Nightmare adds more animals to the game's biosphere, new "dynamic events," eight new zombie characters for use in multiplayer, and a new Undead Overrun cooperative mode.

For shooter fans, Zombie Studios' Blacklight: Tango Down ($15) is now available to download from the PlayStation Store. The title released on Xbox Live in July, where it received a cool reception. The title features seven game modes, 12 maps, and online multiplayer support for up to 16 players.
The zombie well runs dry there, though. Also hitting the PSN this week is Superstars V8 Racing ($20). Developed by Milestone, the racing title features trophy support, arcade and simulation race types, officially licensed vehicles (BMV, Audi, Jaguar), and 12-player online multiplayer.
Switching to the PSP storefront, Sony added three new titles to the hub this week, the first of which is Bakugan: Defenders of the Core ($20). The action-themed title casts players as the "towering" Bakugan, who must save the world from the nefarious Spectra and his similarly evil Vexos minions.
Also hitting the PSP hub this week is WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 ($40). One of the title's new features is its updated physics system, which can be seen in the increasingly varied ways players can interact with chairs, tables, and ladders.
The final PSP title arriving this week is Z.H.P: Unlosing Ranger VS. Darkdeath Evilman ($20). From NIS America, the title will cast gamers as protagonist the Unlosing Ranger, who is at odds with Darkdeath Evilman. Players will fight through a series of randomized dungeons on their quest to defeat Evilman and save the mystifying Super Baby.
For gamers wishing to try before they buy, Sony added five new samplers this week. The five-pack of free trials include: Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Blacklight: Tango Down, Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2, Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, and TV Superstars.
One mini moseyed its way to the storefront this week. Flick Fishing ($5) is now available to download. The fishing title has players trolling in various bodies of water casting out for and hopefully reeling in a prize catch.
Those looking for new songs to add to their Guitar Hero library this week can download a 14 new songs from Soundgarden, as well as three songs from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
A full list of the week's deals and new PlayStation Store content, including themes, wallpapers, demos, discounts, and add-on content, is available on the PlayStation Blog.
