Rome at heart of new Europa Universalis

I always enjoyed playing with the other factions on Rome, the Romans were too strong and won most games. Hope they don't do that on this; otherwise it should be awesome:)

sounds and looks sweet, hope they dont pull a rome total war and make it so anyone but the romans were terrible to play as

there are no real time battles in erupa series, its erupa but based in rome time period

This game appears to be: Rome: Total War + more empire building options and historical accuracy - great real time battles and good looking graphics.

What game is it where you can create your own nation during any time period and control things like the economy, education, deplomacy, military, technology, and so like you can have nuclear weapons when people are still trying to kill you with arrows? anyone know? I saw someone playing it in the dorms like 7 years ago, but I don't remember what it was.

This series is on a completely different level to Rome Total War - and CA doesn't own history! Anyway, I was playing a game called Annals of Rome of my Spectrum 48k 20 years ago, so nobody owns anything when it comes to gaming, everything is a copy of what came before.

Yes BlueYoshi579 , Creative Assembly has the copyrights for anything "Rome" I suppose. It might also be useful to point out to the fact that the two games aren't similar. At all.

One word Kick Ass I uh mean two words or whatever. This series has been the Be All, End All of strategy games. I seriously can't wait.

oh...my...god this is gonna pwn so hard. like, seriously, i can't even begin to describe how exciting this is. EUROPA UNIVERSALIS GOES TO ANCIENT ROME!!!!!!!!! i mean, this is the greatest grand strategy series of all time, and they're taking it to one of the most amazing periods in history. AHHHHH!!!!! there are tears streaming down my face right now :cry:
