RuneScape 3 launching this summer
Jagex reveals new update in free-to-play adventure game series arriving later this year.
RuneScape 3 will launch this summer, Jagex officially announced today. The free-to-play, browser-based game will feature a number of updates thanks to its new HTML5 engine.
Jagex promises improved graphics, longer draw distances, new audio, new design features, and a "world-changing content update" for RuneScape 3.
According to Jagex, the RuneScape series has seen 220 million players since its original release in 2011. The developer is describing RuneScape 3 as "one of the most significant updates in its history."
