Ryu, Akuma headline Asura's Wrath DLC

I thought this would be a X tekken DLC or something

This will never end, get used to it. I have a feeling the people whining about DLC will still buy it if it's for their favorite game. And that's why it will never end, because there are always weak-willed, loyal fans that MUST have every dlc pack and terrible sequel.

Hackers saw traces of Solid Snake in the GC Super Smash Bros Melee. Mass Effect, Gran Turismo 5, GTA4, LA Noir all got loads of DLC. Got SF x T game for 30 dollars vs 60 dollars for Super Street fighter 2 96 with just a few extra colors for Ryu. Quit wining, either buy them or dont. The games got plenty of characters in it already. Fat megaman isnt that fascinating.

DLC is killing the games industry... Capcom might as well put Ryu of Breath of Fire against Ryu of Street Fighter

This kind of crap is going to keep happening until games are reduced to one single episode at launch, but at full price. Epic greed.

Although I think that this is a cool DLC, games are kind of never finished so full games are dead.

Capcom is still one of my favorite game developers. But yes I agree they have a bad buisness model when handling DLC. But honestly DLC is extras, and even if unlocked from the disc to start with they still are just little extras. Like VS mode for Resident Evil 5.. Wasn't a good mode over Mercenaries anyway. Truth is as Capcom games go I've never felt a piece of DLC to be that worth while, so stop your bellyaching and just don't buy it.. It really is that simple.

It's curious,the first time I saw pictures of Asura's Wrath character,I immediately thought Street Fighter,and now,it's here.

asura is just akuma's 3rd cousin twice removed... you cant tell me imagination has run its course.. cause when i worked for GE ont he wind turbins.. our motto was imagination at work.. and i know for a fact it cant be dead cause i could draw you a half monkey half giragge throwing pop tarts at ligers.. for petes sake.. should of called it akumas wrath and it would of been TIGHT!!! haha

One of the main flaws of Asura's Wrath was its length and this was reflected in the reception it got from reviewers. Are the people in Capcom stupid or something? Why are they shooting themselves in the foot? They could have sold more copies of the game if it was longer but they resort to butchering the game and then selling the cut versions as DLC when no one is going to bother to buy the game? Capcom is setting the record for idiocy. Congraturations. Idiots.

Not a bad game, but nothing more than an interactive youtube video that costs $60. In fact, I'll probably rent the game from Redbox this weekend, and once I get my $2 worth, watch the cut scenes on Youtube. To mess with my wife, I'll watch the vids on my 360, and she'll think I'm still playing the game and leave me be!

I love you Capcom, you used to be my favorite Developer of all time. Now, you just dont seem to give a damn about what anyone wants. If I truly care about the quality of your games and the future of you as a company, I will be forced to boycott until you get a clue. Hopefully you receive it very soon.

I know everyone hate dlc now but this is not so bad I mean if it was an outfit or a new map or level then I see the point but this is Ryukyu and akuma they are from a different game not ment to be in the game in the first place. Its like playing a Mario game with Link dlc

Ryu and Akuma DLC, nice extra content at a great price. Extra episodes and epilogue, F**k that. Capcom (And many other companies) has yet to learn to not make it's customers spend extra money if they want the complete experience... Dammit... Thankfully I did not buy this game. See that Capcom? I can learn from my mistakes, why can't you, people?

Is this on the disc? I hope so Capcom. I really need to save that hard drive space. No I don't want that unlock code either, that will take up another few kilobytes of my precious hard drive. Just make them available. Like you know, from the start. I know you guys just wants us to save HDD space, and I appreciate your concern of our precious drives. So don't make us waste a few kilobytes to unlock on-disc DLC. Thanks.

I think C-A-P-C-O-M stands for :Company Amassing Profits, Cash & Online Money . Capcom, aka DLC inc. It's funny to see games like Mortal Kombat with a thousand playable characters and then a Street Fighter/Tekken game with 12 characters, and the others unlockable by paying more. I think that what's called progress, innovation, and being honest with customers.

Getting sick of all the DLC. Too bad the developers will never go back to the good old days when beating a game actually felt like an accomplishment because you were rewarded with what is now known as DLC. Now that the developers realize that people will pay why would they ever give up that revenue stream? Pandora's box is open and it is we the gamers who literally pay for it.

Nobody buy this. Stop letting Capcom rip you off by paying for their DLC. If we ever want the on-disc and ripoff DLC crap to stop, we need to start speaking with our wallets. So I repeat, DO NOT BUY THIS DLC. Eventually Capcom will get the hint. I hope.

@Brightman55 Ah, name calling instead of coming up with an actual point. Tell me how you would feel to have bought a $60 game and have to pay for extra characters? Or how about back in the old days where you only had to beat the game to unlock extra contents, characters, or modes? Hence why I said, "it should be included anyway".

Great game. So much better then that crapfest God of War. Asura should be in SF x Tekken.

I think the last capcom game I bought was RE4 and last I played was RE5 [borrowed from friend]. I haven't bought a single Capcom game this gen and never felt like I was missing something. Thank you Capcom, for making it so easy to shun you.

Shame on capcom. They used to be one of my favorite companies, now they absolutely blow. Not a fan of their new business model.

wow first they make you pay $60 for a 6 hour game now they are charging you for dlc's ...way to treat your customers capcom, i read a few days back that cd red is bringing out an enhanced edition of the witcher 2 a 4 hour additional content and those who already purchased the game gets to download it for free. just had to point that out .
