Saints Row IV GAT V DLC released for free on PC today
Volition gives away Saints Row IV GAT V DLC for free on Steam the day Grand Theft Auto V is released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Developer Volition has announced the GAT V DLC for Saints Row IV, and has released it for free on the PC for September 17.
Taking the opportunity to reference the fact that Grand Theft Auto V has not been announced for the PC, the DLC's description on Steam says, "Want to buy GAT V on PC? Too bad! Because we made the GAT V pack FREE on Steam for today only!"
"It's the moment every gamer has been waiting for: GAT V is here! Dress up as star-crossed lovers Gat and Aisha and strap on a heavy machine gun and a combat knife launcher for the ultimate Saints Row experience."
Volition has also released The Wild West Pack for Saints Row IV, which includes a cowboy outfit, Wild West dress, and a Western-themed shotgun and revolver.
Publisher Deep Silver says both Saints Row IV DLC packs are now available on Steam worldwide and on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America, with a September 18 date on consoles for the rest of the world.
A long-running petition campaigning Rockstar to release Grand Theft Auto V on the PC recently crossed 350,000 signatures.
Saints Row IV was released last month on the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
