Sammy announces Guilty Gear X2

Sammy Studios has announced plans to bring the Japanese fighting game Guilty Gear XX to the US PlayStation 2 next year under the name Guilty Gear X2.

X2 will feature the entire Guilty Gear X roster and add six new characters. The game will also feature a new button to execute dust attacks, which launch the opposing fighter into the air, setting him or her up for air combos.

Guilty Gear X2 is scheduled to hit US stores in Q1 2003.
