Save $100 On HTC Vive VR Headset This Week
Happy birthday, HTC Vive.
The HTC Vive virtual reality headset launched in April 2016. To celebrate the headset's first birthday, HTC is running a sale on the device, dropping its price from $800 to $700 later this week.
The $100 discount goes into effect for one day only--April 5--which is one year to the day after HTC Vive launched. The headset also comes with a pair of wireless controllers.

Also on April 5, which HTC has dubbed "Vive Day," the company is offering everyone a free copy of Arcade Saga (containing three arcade titles) and a free one-month subscription to Viveport.
Viveport is the just-announced subscription service (launching April 5), that lets users pick five games from an "ever-growing library of curated content" and play them as much as they want for $7/month. You can continue to play your chosen five games or pick new ones every month.
There will be more than 50 games in the Viveport library at launch, including Fantastic Contraption, Mars Odyssey, and Everest VR.
You can learn more about Vive Day here on the HTC blog.
