Schizm exclusive
Project Three sends us a big group of exclusive screenshots from its upcoming fantasy adventure game, Schizm: Mysterious Journey.
Dutch publisher Project Three Interactive sent us a group of exclusive screenshots from its upcoming fantasy adventure game, Schizm: Mysterious Journey. The game is in the final stages of development at Poland-based LK Avalon, and it is large enough to require publishing it in DVD-ROM format, since the full game would take up approximately 17 CD-ROM discs.
Schizm takes place in a futuristic alien world. Players assume the role of two members of a supply vessel sent from Earth to a remote colony on an alien planet. The previous inhabitants of the colony have mysteriously disappeared, and players must investigate the area to find clues. The game's nonlinear story was created in collaboration with Australian science-fiction writer Terry Dowling, and it takes players through a wide variety of prerendered 3D environments. Players simultaneously control the game's two main characters, who can explore the gameworld independently. In addition to a large number of environments, the game will include a number of animated cutscenes.
Although the game is designed to fill a DVD-format disc, a scaled-down version of the game will also be released on four CD-ROM discs. For more information about Schizm: Mysterious Journey, visit the official Schizm Web site.
