4D Rulers has announced plans to release a second multiplayer test demo of Gore, its upcoming first-person shooter. The second demo will incorporate a number of changes based on feedback from players of the game's first test demo, which was released in March. According to the developers, the second test includes larger levels and brighter textures, as well as better artwork, sound effects, and weapon effects. In addition, the game now has improved dynamic lighting, new character models and animation structures, and a wider variety of weapons and team-based multiplayer modes.

The second Gore test demo will include three levels--one from the original demo and two new levels--and four distinct characters. It features all the weapons from the original demo, as well as six new weapons. The game's level editor and sound engine has also been improved, and the game engine now supports collision detection on breakable items, which lets the designers create objects such as breakable bridges and doors.

Gore is a first-person shooter that takes place in three distinct worlds--medieval Earth, postapocalyptic Earth, and an alien planet--and features indoor, outdoor, and low-gravity environments.
