Today during its PAX West panel, Square Enix debuted new footage from Final Fantasy XV.

The footage begins at around 24 minutes in the video below (click play and it should jump to that time). Director Hajime Tabata and other people from the development team are on-hand to narrate the footage. We see Noctis and the group enter a mine shaft where they square off against evil creatures.

The video also spotlights Final Fantasy XV's Chocobo racing minigame. Skip to around 50 minutes to see that footage, which looks wonderful. Your creature only has a set amount of stamina, so you'll need to manage your sprinting strategically to come out on top. Also, Chocobos can drift, and doing so lets you conserve stamina.

Finally, Square Enix debuted some brand-new footage of Final Fantasy XV, starting at around 54 minutes. This is a mission where the player infiltrates an enemy Niflheim base. Players are fighting a creature of the mechanical variety and developers stressed that you'll need to use different tactics against these. They have different body parts that can you target specifically.

If you watch the full video, be aware that there were technical difficulties in the second half that interrupted the broadcast. It was not an issue with the game, however, Square Enix said.

After a delay, Final Fantasy XV is now scheduled to come out on November 29 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In other news, the Final Fantasy XV playable minigame, Justice Monsters Five, is out now on mobile devices as a standalone game.
