To support this launch, Psyonix has also partnered with the NBA for an "NBA Flag Pack" ($2) that includes flags for all 30 NBA teams. You don't have to spend any money to get an NBA flag, however, as next week's free update also gives all players an NBA logo flag to equip on their car.
Rocket League's Hoops mode will be played on an arena called "Dunk House." As you can see in the video, aerial shots will be key to having success in Hoops, while the net can also be used as a ramp.
Basketball is the second traditional sport that Rocket League has adapted, following a "Snow Day" hockey mode that was released in 2015. The base game is inspired by soccer.
In other Rocket League news, the game has now reached 14 million players, while the latest crossover campaign has also been announced and detailed.
