Sega reopening Conduit this fall
High Voltage Software's original first-person shooter series returns to the Wii with new four-player co-op mode, better online cheat-busting.
Longtime licensed-game developer High Voltage Software made its first big push into the world of original intellectual properties last year with the Wii release of The Conduit. Published by Sega, the first-person shooter sold more than 150,000 copies worldwide, good enough to justify the two companies reteaming on a sequel.

Sega today announced that it will be releasing Conduit 2 in North America and Europe this fall. The game is once again being developed as a Wii exclusive by the team at High Voltage. The single-player mode of the game will pick up the original game's alien invasion storyline, with Sega promising dynamic environments, player customization options, and giant boss enemies.
As for multiplayer, Conduit 2 will introduce new co-op modes for online play, or offline with up to four players sharing a split-screen. Sega is also promising "increased multiplayer security" for the game, in light of the cheating that undermined the online play of the original game
