Sega Europe announced late last week that it will publish Tenchu: Fatal Shadows in the spring of 2005. Developed by K2 Studios in collaboration with From Software, Fatal Shadows is the sequel to 2003's Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven, published by Activision in the US. From Software acquired the Tenchu property from Activision this past July.

Fatal Shadows features two playable characters--both kunoichi, or female ninja. Returning heroine Ayame will team up with 16-year-old newcomer Rin. Featuring the series' trademark blend of melee combat and stealth action, the title released in Japan in July under the title Tenchu Kurenai.

As of yet, no US release plans have been announced for Tenchu: Fatal Shadows.
