Doesn't help when sites like GameSpot, IGN etc run these head-to-head video and screenshot comparisons where 99% of the time the human eye can't even tell the difference between the PS4, XB1 and PC versions. They will claim they don't condone or encourage flame wars and fanboyisim till they're blue in the face but we all know these comparisons are in fact designed to fan the flames.

But yeah gaming forums on the Internet are generally negative, toxic environments.

I say buy the system or systems you like, play the games you like, play multiplatform titles on whichever system makes the most sense for YOU and just try to enjoy gaming!

You know what I miss most about the SNES vs. Genesis 16-bit wars? The fact there were NO INTERNET FORUMS. Back then we talked $h!t to each other's faces on the playground and agreed to disagree. My Genesis-owning buddies would come over to my house to try out the SNES and I'd go over to their house to play the Genesis. We didn't waste hours of our lives we'll never get back pointlessly trying to change anonymous people's minds who have a different allegiance to us. It almost makes me want to stop reading the comments all together.

@lucienbry Yea... the free games, discounts, and using video apps without PS Plus is horrible. It only took Microsoft until just a few months ago to implement half of these features. Where is Microsoft's version of Playstation Now? I can play PS3 games on my PS4 without waiting for any download. It's instantly accessible.

Not to mention Remote Play so I can play PS4 AND PS3 titles on my PS Vita portably. No remote play for xbox. Not even a handheld to begin wtih.

XBOX has zero backwards compatibility and can't even hit 1080p on most games. It's a boring piece of hardware. I bought both PS4 and XB1 and my XB1 has been collecting dust. Haven't even turned it on in almost 8 months now because every multiplatform game is better on PS4 and the exclusives are mindblowing.

What exclusive is on XB1? Have fun waiting for that master chief collection.

Actually I'm just kidding. I will eventually pickup an Xbox One because I'm a guy who always owns all the consoles so I can play all the exclusives, I'm not buying it this weekend. I'm actually hoping some other people get it for me for Christmas. Currently I have a Wii U and PS4 so getting the XB1 will make my setup complete and then I'll no longer be bound by hardware when I want to play ANY console game :)
