For the past several months, we've seen more regular discounts on first-party Nintendo Switch games than we usually do. It seems the days of Zelda and Mario games selling for list price for literal years are in the rearview mirror. That said, Switch games still hover around full price for longer than PlayStation and Xbox games, which makes any discount on a fairly recent title noteworthy. Walmart has loads of great Nintendo Switch games on sale for $49.94 right now, including Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been discounted to $50 before, but it's never gone for less, and this discount is still pretty rare. If you haven't picked up the massively popular simulation game yet, now's your chance to get it for a stellar price. Fire Emblem: Three Houses, one of the best tactical RPGs on Switch, doesn't get discounted often, and this is the best price we've seen.

Zelda fans can pick up the adorable remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening for $49.94 as well. Released in 2019, Link's Awakening is often still sold for full price. Whether you want to revisit your childhood or introduce your kids to old-school top-down Zelda, Link's Awakening is a gem that every Switch owner should play.

While the trio of games above are the most notable deals, you can save $10 on plenty more Switch games at Walmart right now, including Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Super Mario Odyssey, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Even though finding Switch games at discounted prices is more common nowadays, it's still extremely rare to see the big ones for less than $50 outside of Black Friday.
