Shadow of Mordor's Release Moved Up to September

Interested in this game but just can't the idea out of my head that the Nemesis system won't be deep and complex and will just result in the same few predictable results over and over.

Good news. There's room for another game in September. October is is already over loaded. Monolith is a great developer. I loved the Condemned games.

sigh so many date changes its starting to get silly now i mean first 2014 was looking like an amazing year for gaming maybe the best since 04 then everything got pushed backed into 2015 and everything left of mention in this year got crammed into oct. Like I think the game industry really needs to get out of the summer drought mindset cause this has been happening for the last few years. Everyone cant release Q4 i know its the holidays and it lines up nice with their fiscal and what not but there's plenty of money to be made in the summer i mean plenty of people would like to have great games to play over the summer. In fact Id say people are dying to play something especially on the new consoles.

Evil Within was also moved up a week. I wonder why that game isn't getting much press. A proper return to Resident Evil should be a pretty big deal.

Finally some good news.

Any news on the European version? I think I may have gotten my hopes up, only to be let down if the European release date is still the 7th..

Disappointed to hear DA:I getting delayed, but delighted to hear this one getting boosted a week earlier...

Thats a smart move get out of that over packed October 7, too much game release that day.

I think the lesson of the past few months is don't take release dates seriously until the game is in your hands. And then only be half sure that it's out.

The thing that worries me most about this game is it is being released on so many platforms.

Game buyers have a limited $pend each month and the publishers know exactly what that amount is. To maximize pre-review sales they need to avoid direct competition for Little Timmy's game money. They'll all claim it's "for the fans", or "to polish the game further", or "to make for a better user experience". Please. That code is cast in concrete one or two months out and nothing can or will be changed.

Wow thats refreshingly different news.

I always worried when a game moves up in release date. At least when a game is pushed back you can expect tweaks to gameplay and removal of bugs which undoubtedly enhance the final product.

Now everyone is moving away from October 7..this is quite funny.

I bet that there are a couple of people at EA kicking themselves now.
