Shinobi release date set

Sega of Japan has announced on its official site that Shinobi is now scheduled for a December 5 release in Japan. In the game, players take on the role of Hatsuma, the leader of the Oboro ninja clan. Hatsuma can perform a wide variety of attacks using just his throwing stars, but he can also perform a deadly stealth dash, which can take out multiple enemies at once.

The North American version of Shinobi is still tentatively scheduled for a fall release.
