Shipping: 3D Prophet DDR-DVI

Guillemot's Hercules 3D Prophet DDR-DVI has started shipping to Canadian and American stores. The board is equipped with double-data-rate SDRAM, which operates at twice the clock rate of standard SDR (single-data-rate) memory found on almost all other video boards and is equipped with a DVI signal out for flat panel monitor users.

The board retails for US$299 after a $20 mail-in rebate - considerably lower than the originally announced price of $399.
