Shockwave.com to share Puzzle Pirates' booty

Developer Three Rings' efforts to distribute Yohoho! Puzzle Pirates got some serious wind in its sails recently, after Shockwave.com agreed to help distribute the game on its Web site. Having been in beta testing for the better part of a year, the massive multiplayer game will launch on December 8 and will be available on Shockwave.com.

Yohoho! Puzzle Pirates' gameplay combines the usual buccaneer activities--sailing ships, pillaging booty, and drinking grog--with the very un-pirate-like pastime of solving puzzles. Players must also team up to fight off rival bands of bloodthirsty scallywags.
