Sid Meier's Pirates terrorizing Wii Oct. 5

Fun game when it came out a few years ago. Should have been ported over earlier than now imo.

pc version rocks my socks. the psp version wasnt s'bad for a pick up n'play either.

I love this game! would have thought they would have made a new one though! it's been ported to almost every platform in existance! fantastic game though, i still play it. no better game to chill to.

Sid Meier is determined to give pirates another go. Next it'll be the Civ games.

I think I have this for my XBox, but I never played it. I wonder if it'll work on my XBox 360.I wouldn't waste my time playing this on the Wii though. I don't even see the reasoning for porting this to the Wii.

I loved pirates, from the moment i bought it on steam. Not sure about itbeing on the wii though.

Great game.....but a 5 year old port? Not much incentive to repurchase if you already have the previous iterations. On that note, I'd love to see Firaxis go all out on a Pirates! sequel.

This is a great game and all, but as a new release, on the Wii? Not so sure at all....

I'm guessing this is a port building on the console version, yeah? The PC anf console versions were slightly different, remember.

Pc version good. Wii version better!

Nice a port of a genre I don't like. 2K I assume gta and other games people like to play are not for wii. Oh wait a new carnival games is coming. Nintendo please work on the third party support.

I love my Wii but man someone please stop porting games and give me something new and good on the Wii. The last game I bought was Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles and that was November of last year.

Sid Meier's Pirates! is classic. Glad to see they're releasing it on another platform, giving it a wider potential audience. Just hope they don't mess it up with Wii-waggling.

This is the Wii's most high-profile, 3rd Party game coming out this fall :P. Still sounds fun, though. Pirates had always been good, though the mini-games worry me. But that's what happens when it releases on the Wii!

Wow this is interesting... They should reboot the game though, it was so fun when I downloaded it! If they made it with modern ideas etc., it would be a great game.
