With the real-time strategy game League of Legends already live in open beta form in Southeast Asia, it's only a matter of time until gamers in Singapore congregate to see who reigns over LOL. Online gaming platform provider Garena will be holding an offline LOL tournament for 2011 in Singapore.

The double-elimination format tournament will be held on February 27 in the Colosseum cyber café in Iluma. Players interested will have to form a team consisting of five members for the tournament and register on the spot. The team to come up first place gets S$1,000(US$782), while second and third place get S$600(US$470) and S$400(US$313) respectively.

This tournament is a follow-up to the first on-site tournament the company held last month, titled First Blood.
