SK Gaming release CS:GO roster
Roughly two weeks after the annoucement of Faruk 'pita' Pita's retirement from competitive gaming, SK Gaming have revealed that they will not support a team in the title for the time being.

SK Gaming are one of the organisations most people's memory will drift towards when asked about competitive Counter Strike. Having fielded several of the most famous teams and players throughout the years, their reputation in 1.6 was without a doubt stellar, but in CS:GO the organisation is yet to find a line-up to last for an extended period of time and has today announced that their most recent roster in the title has been released.
No definitive reason behind the decision was made known in the official SK Gaming press release, but the statement ends with the organisation expressing interest in other, as of yet unamed, endeavours in eSports.
We have been and currently are looking into other opportunities and will hopefully have some promising announcements coming up soon.- Excerpt from the official SK Gaming statement
Pita's replacement in the two weeks following his departure was Marcus 'Delpan' Larsson, who acted as the dedicated AWP'er for the team.
