Smite Xbox One/PS4 Patch Adds an Assassin, Skins, and More
There are some significant map, item, and character adjustments in this update.
Hi-Rez Studios has offered a preview of the upcoming 3.8 patch for Smite, which arrives soon for Xbox One and PS4. It brings many of the major features added on PC recently, including Susano, the God of the Summer Storm.
Susano is an Assassin who moves more quickly with each ability of his that is on cooldown. He also has the ability to unleash whirlwinds he can teleport to, and his Ultimate comes in the form of a hurricane that expands in size over time and pulls enemies toward its center.

New skins are also part of this patch, including the excellent Riftshaker Janus and Jag.rar Xbalanque. Raijin also finally gets mastery skins, while Loki gets the Joki and Last Laugh skins. The latter is a limited skin, meaning you only have one opportunity to get it, and that's by purchasing the Joki skin. Do so by May 24, and you'll get Last Laugh for free. You can see all of the new skins in the gallery above.
The patch also adds new Achievements--or introduces Trophies, in the case of the PS4 version-- and makes changes to items, characters, and the Conquest map. Among the most significant is the return of the speed camp in Conquest; improvements to Rod of Asclepius; and improvements to Xing Tian, bringing back Hook Slam's root (in place of its slow) and reworking his Ultimate.
You can read more about all of that in our previous coverage, or check out the full patch notes for yourself on Smite's website.
