Snag Doom Anthology For Only $25 And Prepare For The Dark Ages

Doom Anthology includes six Doom games, a replica BFG with LED lights, and a steelbook case.

With Doom: The Dark Ages arriving next month, it's the perfect time to replay the series. Woot's Spring Video Game Sale includes a deal that can help with that. Doom Anthology, which originally released last October for $80, is on sale for as low as $25 at Woot. The Nintendo Switch version is discounted to $25, while the PlayStation edition for PS5 and PS4 is up for grabs for $30. Doom Anthology comes with six games, a BFG replica display figure, and a steelbook case.

Doom Anthology is available for much higher prices on all four platforms at Amazon: PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Doom (2016) and Doom Eternal are awesome first-person shooters that all fans of the genre should play, especially since Doom: The Dark Ages releases in a few short months.

But the older Doom games are definitely worth your time in 2025, too. Doom (1993) and Doom II were rereleased the same day Doom Anthology was revealed. Existing owners, including those who buy this collection, can upgrade for free. These enhanced editions can be played in 4K resolution at 120fps on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. They also feature a bevy of extra content, including a brand-new Doom II campaign episode, 26 new multiplayer maps, and more. Plus, both games now have cross-play for deathmatch and missions. The pair now boast 43 deathmatch maps and a staggering 187 mission maps.

If you're looking forward to the next entry in the Doom franchise, check out GameSpot's Doom: The Dark Ages preorder guide for details on bonuses and editions. PC players can save on Steam key preorders at GameSpot's sister site Fanatical.

Lots of complaining, but this is a good deal for me. I own the last two Doom games, but I haven't played the other 4 for some time. The replica and steel case are what make it worthwhile, but the regular pricing is what held me back from buying it originally.

" won't be pleased about the case not actually including a disc or cartridge"

What's the friggin' point?! Anyone can do a 3d print version of this BFG? I already own the games in digital, give me something special, like working PC retail discs not tied to DRM.

I'd pay $100 for this if they removed Doom 3, Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal from the bundle. Doom 3 is not Doom. Doom 2016 thinks it's Doom, but it doesn't have Doom music. Doom Eternal is a I Wanna Be The Guy/Boshy type platformer. Then there's the music... Doom music in 1 and 2 was so good, but they were never able to replicate that. Doom 64 dropped having any actual music besides the title theme. I forget what Doom 3 even sounded like, so that says alot.

@Justtapitin: Physical copies are becoming harder and harder as the years go by. I do not mind digital as long as they let me DL the installer like GOG does, but you know they won't. Another thing even if you were to get a hard copy, you still need to shake hands with the devs and if you cannot shake hands with them, you have a disc that can hold your coffee cup.

There is a huge irony about a gun called “the BFG”, having a 5-inch replica.

@Xylymphydyte: A five inch gun is pretty meh. If you have an Xbox then they're on Game Pass or you can buy them for half the price of this collection on all platforms.

@Xylymphydyte: hey, when it’s only five he can barely feel it and it’s not his fault!
