Sniper: Ghost Warrior sequel inbound

Bought Sniper: GW on Steam for $5 last week. I'm surprised that its really a good game. Don't know what people were talking, but its really well polished and developed. Definitely a solid 8/10. I got more fun out of it than CoD:BO.

the first game (on ps3) was a gr8 game... so realistic!! lets hope that it is gonna b fantastic!! :)

The first game was really cool actually, although with some bugs and short campaign but awesome to hear there's a sequel coming, can't wait :)

Both thenephariouson and Vortimous are correct. Sniper Elite was an awesome sniping game.

Good to hear. First one is okay, but had a lot of problems. Really could've been a lot better with some more work. CryEngine 3 will help make sure it's going to be the best it can be!

Looks like a game for the COD fans.. Camp-tastic. Learn some skills boys and stop sitting in corners..

hahah i remember first game, the AI uses to spot you form miles away while u were hidden behind a bush tree that was very cheap...

I liked the game, but mine had a crash bug they never could fix so I could only get threw about half of it... That being said, I hope the next game is something like a ghost recon type map where you can go where you want, do the objective how you want, you have free reign. I would love a game that just gives you a target and drops you on a map, you have to figure out where he is, recon him, then decide how you want to eliminate him. YOu can go guns a blazing and kill everyone or one shot one kill and get out undetected.... a mix between hitman games and ghost recon... And yes, sniper elite is by far the best sniping game so far...

I enjoyed the hell out of Sniper Ghost Warrior & I'm very excited to hear a sequel is in the works. Yes improvements need to be made, but really overall the 1st game is very good.

This time around, I hope they implement the following: - Proper bullet physics - Proper AI - Proper Stealth Mechanics

I hope they do better this time, the stealth in the original was terrible (Was so bad that i gave up on the first stealth level....). Its a good idea for a game but they do need to improve it. Hopefully we can get some different rifles (Ones with Silencers, different scopes, stuff that makes it easier to remain hidden and find prey)

Like a few others here have already stated, and i completely agree: 1, Fix the Bugs. 2, Impove NPC AI. 3, Create more imaginative missions. My favourite Sniper based game to date is probably 'Sniper Elite', if city Interactive resolve the afforementioned issues, this has the potential to be better.

Not surprised there is a sequel coming, it was probably City Interactive's most successful game.

I want to check this game out, and I'm sort glad that this game sold well to get a sequel cause I thought it wasn't all that good but all well it still good to see some games to get a sequel.

I still need to get the game. It looks pretty cool.

The first is not a bad game at all. When you have a Sniper in your hand, the game plays as well as any AAA shooter on the market. It is when they hand you an assault rifle and pretend to be Call of Duty when things go south. Luckily 90% is sniping.

Basic idea was good. Graphics was good. Atmospheric pervasion was good Enemy AI must be upgraded, more creative missions and more pervasive atmosphere are NEEDED. The example of 2007 MW - All Ghillied Up and One Shot, One Kill should be taken into account very much. rumors suggest EA will have a finger in this pie too. good or bad ? It will turn out soon. I guess it will be released in 2011 winter.
