Sony today launched a new auction promotion that will allow gamers to bid on the costumes, props, and weapons featured in the PlayStation 4's "Greatness Awaits" trailer from E3.
Fans can bid on 15 total items at the Bid for Greatness website by using the gold trophies they have accrued. Trophies will remain associated to a player's account following the bidding process, whether they win or not.
A new item will be up for bidding for only 24 hours beginning today and running through July 30. New items will appear every day at 1 p.m. PDT.
Today's item (pictured) is the Black Hand outfit from Killzone: Shadow Fall. It is a one-piece jumpsuit that features multiple accessories and is designed to fit a 6-foot man. The leading bid at press time is 540 trophies.
Upcoming auction items include an infected Clicker costume from The Last of Us, a Dragonborn dagger from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Witch Doctor mojo from Diablo III, and a Captain Kenway outfit from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, among others.
