Sony will showcase a new 3D virtual reality headset during this month's Tokyo Game Show, according to a new video from the company's official YouTube account.
The video (below) highlights an updated version of the HMZ 3D headset Sony launched last year. The device shown includes a front-facing camera, a feature that was not included with previous iterations of the technology.
Head-mounted displays have been a popular trend in the industry lately. The Kickstarter campaign for the Oculus Rift, which drew the support of Valve's Gabe Newell and Epic Games' Cliff Bleszinski, was successful on its first day.
