Sony Buys Cyberlife

SCE will purchase the game programming division of UK-based Cyberlife Technology.

Sony Computer Entertainment announced Tuesday that it will purchase the game programming division of UK-based Cyberlife Technology (formally named Millennium Interactive) for an undisclosed amount of money through Sony's European division in London.

Sony hopes to ensure that software programming from will boost the sales of its PlayStation game console.

Cyberlife's claim to fame is building games with artificial intelligence; it has a few PlayStation games and a PC game called Creatures.
