Sony calls Last Guardian E3 listing 'purely speculative'

There will be all this talk about long development, and I guarantee it wil get canceled.

I'm surprised Sony hasn't shut down the studio making it. They've been on a roll with cancelling games and closing down studios.

It isn't coming.

This is something I've been waiting for forever so of course it's a total troll on life just like PIkmin 3 was never coming out on the Wii.... Now that it is coming out I need a WiiU.... freakin trollin

I remember when they first announced this game... my expectations have slowly died.

This is the new Duke Nukem Forever.

I still really want this game to come out, but in the same breath, I'm not exactly expecting it anymore. If it does come out it will be a pleasant surprise, but if it doesn't, I'm over it already.

I'll believe it when I see the boxed copy of one.

Considering that this game doesn't have to keep up with an ever evolving genre like the FPS (or de-evolving, depending on who you talk to, I suppose), this game still has a chance at being fantastic despite all the delays. But still, this is just getting ridiculous. I actually forgot about this game until this article was mentioned. And I bought a PS3 in anticipation for this game.

With all this delay, when(if) it comes outs, I bet it won't live up to our expectations.

Just a gut feelin'.

I'm happy to wait, there're plenty to do in the mean time.
Even if there's a chance it becomes a masterpiece it'll have been worth it.

If there ever was ONE game that fits the next gen tag, then it HAS to be THIS game. But I have been hearing enough speculation already. Is this game IN or NOT ? How is that a hard question to answer.

pfft its barely vapor ware. the game doesn't exist as far as I'm concerned just like ff13vs.

The original creative lead (Ico, SOTC) is still working on the game, right? If not, forget it.

Just cancel it. And stop teasing.

This game is a disaster. Team members leaving left and right, money poured right down the drain.

If it ever comes out it'll be gimped and feeble, cobbled together by a new team lacking the original vision.

As some have correctly joked about this game being like Duke Nukem Forever. This is now beyond a joke - and some are rightly in thinking that it's not even worth paying any attention to it any more. And who can fault them, I certainly can't. I know FF IV took it's sweet time to come on to the PS3. At least SE had an excuse, they don't have one if you throw in XIII verses. I wonder what Team Icos excuse will be?. Such a shame really... a game that had such potential and now look at it: could've been, not even a has been, but a never was.

this game, if it ever comes out, will flop anyways. They should scrap this but then all would be a waste. If they keep going on development and release it in 40 years, then it will probably be covered in so much hype that it turns out bad. A lose-lose situation I say.

This game is a myth, much like FFXIII Versus

rather than Ps3, it is likely to be outed for the PS4...

wow, this game is still in the picture. What about FF13 Versus? Is that game still going to come out for the Ps3?

We get it this game is never coming out. As much as I'd like it to I just don't see this game ever being finished, but if it does it'll be a nice and welcome surprise.

Between Versus XIII, (which I no longer have any interest in), or this one, (which still looks amazing), I can't decide which one has it worse in development hell.
