Sony Forecasts PS4 Sales Will Reach 60 Million By April 2017

So the PS4 is selling really well and Sony has been making a profit on it from the start. And still people have to pay extra after having payed for the console and the games just to be able to play online. Hm...

That's a bit optimistic. Especially when people are holding off for Neo.

If they're at 40 now, they have 12 months to sell 20 million, which is more than they've ever sold (they've averaged about 15m a year which is already very good). Console sales tend to slow down after the couple years, not speed up.

I'd say 50 is a good number, unless PSVR does gangbusters and gets people to buy PS4s.

I will buy PS4 only if KH3 is coming out exclusively on PS4....

But how big will Sony's arrogance get? Still no good way to declutter the home page. Still no proper wired controllers. Still fewer features than the PS3.

I reckon it'll do more than that. With how it was selling last year with barely any exclusives, this year it has loads including its smoking gun Uncharted.

NX won't put a dent in PS4's sales and Xbox only has Gears of War which might provide a similar bump like Halo 5, but it's going to remain behind for most - if not the rest - of the generation.

Good on Sony. Haters can hate but I have some major love for my PS4 and I will buy a Neo when it comes out, I don't honestly need it, but the wife wants a 2nd console to play together with so it's win win for me!

Unlike what GameSpot says, the PS4 has NOT been available for 3 years. It will be 3 years on the market this November. PS4 has been on the market for only 2.5 years.

Ps4 Mel won't sale unless people sale ps4 . My fear is would latest games come ps4 when neo come out or have buy new consle.

Errr I donno, about that, what if Nintendo's new console NX takes those new costumers away fro buying PS4 at that time?
