Sony Helps With Campus Invasion
Sony Computer Entertainment America announces a partnership with MTV for the Campus Invasion Tour.
Sony Computer Entertainment America announced on Wednesday that it has teamed with MTV to bring the PlayStation to MTV's Campus Invasion Tour. This will let students at more than 26 universities around the country get their hands on the latest PlayStation titles.
"In a very short time, the PlayStation has become an important part of pop culture, much in the same way MTV has become one to its viewers," said Andrew House, vice president of marketing at Sony Computer Entertainment America. "Since our launch in 1995, MTV has been instrumental in supporting the platform, and we welcome the opportunity to team up with innovative consumer events, like this national college media tour. This amazing relationship with MTV will help us expand our demographic reach even further."
Starting today and lasting for six weeks students participating in the College Invasion Tour can get their hands on the new PlayStation titles, including a sneak peak at the upcoming Gran Turismo 2.
