Sony Ships Tomba! 2

Sony Computer Entertainment America announced on Wednesday that Tomba! 2 for the PlayStation has shipped to stores. The sequel to the popular Tomba! follows everyone's favorite pink-haired hero on another pig-humping adventure.

"Tomba! 2 builds upon the originality and humor of the original Tomba!, now delivering an imaginative 3D experience,'' said Ami Blaire, director of product marketing for Sony Computer Entertainment America. "We are confident that this game will appeal to both young and more-advanced gamers, making it one of the 'must-have' family-friendly titles for PlayStation.''

Videogames.com reviewer Peter Bartholow recently reviewed the game and gave it a score of 8.4. "Fans of the original game are in for a treat, but not enough has changed to make the game attractive to those who didn't click with the original," said Bartholow.
