Soul Reaver 2 update

Eidos Interactive has released new screenshots from and information on Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2 for the Sony PlayStation 2. The game will include two new characters. They are Ariel, the powerful sorceress, and Grey Demon, a new enemy character in the game. Ariel governs the so-called Circle of Nine as the guardian of balance, but she is murdered and the entire circle of guardians is thrown into disarray. She is cursed to exist as a disembodied specter until balance is restored. The Gray Demon is able to move freely between the spirit world and the physical world of Nosgoth. It is able to wield the power of lighting and is a formidable foe for Raziel in the game.

GameSpot will have more on Soul Reaver 2 in the coming weeks. It will be released for the Sony PlayStation 2 in August.
