Space HoRSE goes gold
Shrapnel Games' retro space strategy game is complete and will soon be available.
Shrapnel Games has announced that Space HoRSE, its retro space strategy game, has gone gold and will soon be available. The game, which was inspired by the classic game M.U.L.E. from the 1980s, lets players undertake a mission to create a self-sufficient colony on a remote planet. They must use their holistic robotic slave engineer, or "HoRSE," to harvest the resources of their new planet--food, power, titanium, and zirconium--and build a successful colony. The game includes 3D animated cutscenes, several different species, and multiplayer support for up to four players on the same computer.
Space HoRSE was developed by Gilligames, and it is available for purchase from the Shrapnel Games Web site for $29.95. For more information about the game, read our previous coverage and download the playable demo linked below.
