Spike Saves Human
Spike has saved the now-bankrupt Human with newly established subsidiary company Vile.
GameSpot News received word today that Japanese game developer Spike has officially established a new subsidiary company called Vile. The subsidiary will help save developer Human's staff by recruiting 60 of its members into the new company.
Human, known for games such as Clock Tower, declared bankruptcy last November. The capital of the company is funded at 30 million yen (about US$293,000). Vile will focus on development of game software and Internet content with Spike as the publisher. Vile has already been involved in recent projects with Spike, such as the PlayStation cult-hit racing title Bakusou Dekotora Densetsu 2.
