Spyro Reignited Trilogy: Where To Buy It And How Much It Costs (PS4, Xbox One)

Spitting fire.

Spyro, the purple fire-breathing dragon from the '90s, is back, in a souped-up version of the original trilogy on modern consoles. This trio of platformers was made by Insomniac Games and originally hit the original PlayStation between 1998-2000. Spyro Reignited Trilogy is now available for PS4 and Xbox One.

The package contains remasters of Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. The graphics have gotten a complete overhaul, so it should look more like you remember it rather than how it actually looked (not as good!).

Looks like the success that was garnered from the recent Crash Bandicoot trilogy has opened the floodgates (for better or worse.) for some lost and in some case forgotten franchises from back in the day.

The good news about something like this is that it gives a younger generation a chance to see some truly amazing games and for those out there that perhaps have already visited titles such as these it gives them yet another reason to re-live some great moments from the past.

I wonder what other titles from years gone by may show up in the not so distant future.
