Square Discusses Final Fantasy XI

Reports in the Japanese press indicate that Square's massively multiplayer PlayStation 2 role-playing game Final Fantasy XI will support up to 3,000 players simultaneously on each of its PlayOnline servers. Additionally, the company is seeking telecommunications partners to develop Final Fantasy-related software for cell phones and other wireless devices.
