Square Enix E3 2019: The Last Remnant: Remastered for Nintendo Switch, Available Today
You haven't seen the last of this one.
At Square Enix's E3 2019 press conference today, the company naturally talked a lot about RPGs. There was a lot of Final Fantasy news, of course, but they also revealed a trailer for The Last Remnant: Remastered for Nintendo Switch. What's more, it was announced that the game would be available immediately.
The Last Remnant was initially released as an Xbox 360 exclusive. The remastered version of the game was released on PlayStation 4 late last year, and now you can play it on Nintendo's popular hybrid console.
Square Enix's conference also gave us a lot of new information on Final Fantasy VII Remake, including the reveal of its combat system, a mix of real-time and turn-based action, as well as a look at the redesign of fan-favorite waifu, Tifa. Final Fantasy VIII Remastered was also announced for current generation consoles.
Outside of the Japanese RPG realm, Square also spent some time to talk about their upcoming Marvel's Avengers game, as well as a brand new game called Outriders, from the Gears Of War Judgement studio, People Can Fly. You can catch up on everything in our Square Enix Press Conference Recap.
