Square plans FFX spin-offs

According to Mainichi Interactive, Square plans to release two Final Fantasy X spin-off games for the PlayStation 2 this fiscal year in Japan. Though the official titles are unknown and the details are scarce, it was revealed that the games have been code-named "Yuna version" and "Rikku version." Square expects that both of these spin-off titles will expand the Final Fantasy X universe, and they are both being developed by the core members of the original team, using the same game engine and tools.
