Square's Kingdom Hearts set for a March release in Japan
Square and Disney's upcoming PS2 RPG Kingdom Hearts will hit Japan in March.
SquareSoft has announced that it will release Kingdom Hearts for the Sony PlayStation 2 on March 28 in Japan. The role-playing game features several characters from the popular Final Fantasy series and a host of Disney animated cartoon characters, including Donald Duck, Goofy, and Dumbo. The game will be priced at 6,800 yen (about $52) in Japan. A specific North American release date has not been announced at this time, but the game is currently on schedule to be released in fall 2002 in that territory.
