Star Wars 7 Passes $1.8 Billion, Still Behind Titanic and Avatar
If Titanic's 3D re-releases numbers weren't included, The Force Awakens would have passed it.
The weekend numbers are in, and Disney's Star Wars: The Force Awakens continues to soar. The movie made $25.1 million domestically and $47.3 million overseas, bringing its new global total to $1.863 billion.

The Force Awakens remains the No. 3 movie all time globally. It's still behind two James Cameron movies: Titanic ($2.186 billion) and Avatar ($2.78 billion)
As Deadline points out, Titanic's 3D re-release grossed $348 million. Had only the original run been included, The Force Awakens would have passed Titanic this weekend by about $31 million.
