Star Wars Battlefront Aiming for T Rating

Almost every Star Wars game released from 1999 to now has received a T rating.

The only Star Wars game that I can think of that got an M rating was Star Wars1313, which was canceled. They seriously need to bring that game back into development, there was no real reason to remove it.

Just like Halo so parents don't feel bad buying them the game. What has this industry come to?

Why? This is the stupid shit keeping me from getting Halo 5. Either way the beta confirmed it only has star wars cache, no real substance of it's own. Enjoy selling games only to kids, instead of both the adult market and kids. Fucking idiots.

If Free Radical would've made this game as originally planned it would've been great. They had land to space combat easily integrated while Dice cant even manage to put more than 7 maps in the game -_- **** YOU DICE and **** YOU CRYTEK UK

It all got old real quick.

It only has 7 'main' maps for multiplayer! this game is only worth $60 if it includes free DLC for Life.

Honestly i enjoyed the beta, but i don't know if i'm willing to spend 70€ for it. It's also very casual, there's no ammo and almost no recoil, which kinda kills it for me.

So i just realized that theres no blood in Star Wars because the lightsabers are so hot that they close every wound they open, Interesting......

The only thing I wish is that it had an Xbox ONE Kinect to monitor me. Microsoft watches you when you sleep, I feel safer.

I find the beta decent, but looking at the beta I find it may have too little content to justify $60.

'T' for Trash

For me personally this game gets the 'Disappoinment of the year 2015' award. So I wish all the teens in the world lots of fun playing it, I'll stick with BF4 until BF5 comes out.

I'm genuinely suprised that DICE's number 1 studio could bring it into their hearts to make such a shallow simplistic game based on the number 1 sci-fi franchise in the world. I can imagine Disney playing a part in this: 'Remember, we need teenagers to like it, so just make it loud, colourful and not too complicated. A bit like the Mickey Mouse of gaming.'

Well, I wish all the teens in the world a happy shooting in Battlefront. I played several hours of this stale running and gunning DICE product and decided it's not for me.

I had expected so much more, especially since they had their number 1 studio make it. Instead of a solid fun shooter with lots of customization etc, we get tossed this downgraded simplified game that feels more you're collecting powerups in Super Mario Land than an epic StarWars battle.

I'll just go back to BF4 until BF5 comes out.

I enjoyed the beta and I'm getting it. Everything has weight which is something I love. A single player campaign would have been nice, but regardless, I'm picking this up

4 blasters, two maps, and three game types later you people are ready to throw in the towel. What a bunch of noobs. The better half of you shit talkers just fucking suck at the game so you don't know any better than to just spout slander

Canceled my pre-order today, even tho I had it for 45$. The game just isn't fun, even if it's starwars :/

Star Wars Battlefront is fun, I've been playing the Beta of it. I cant help but think that we will be playing what most of the game has to offer in this Beta though and will have to wait for lots of DLC before the game is even big enough to call a full release.

Next time they should aim for a single player game. I buy pretty much all AAA titles but only if they have a decent single player campaign, and I purchase ALL single player only games. They may as well have made it free to play like most other multiplayer games, guess it will be in about a year.

Remake of Republic Commando with the sound design and visuals would be nice (and I think better). Heck, how about a sequel? Sounds good, thanks DICE :P. Oh, and yeah, T makes sense, though to say you're going for that, it is obvious it's just for sales (which also makes sense). I'd like developers to strive for whatever the game comes out to be (so, not a specific rating for sales purposes), and get whatever rating it deserves.

It was a fun Demo, probably definitely deserves a "T" rating if even that (no blood and guts or language to worry about for children). Not worth the full price though. I'd expect a solid single player campaign before paying $60 on a game.

Reading all the previews and news, and now having finally played the demo---I mean, beta--- it is pretty obvious that they are catering to the lowest common denominator. Offend no one, make it easy to play, a recognizable franchise, and plenty of things to "earn" through play.

Well, that kind of sealed the deal; this is a no-buy for me, at least not until a premium edition is on sale or something.

You called the beta a "trial" ?? A trial would've let us see all of the maps, modes, loadouts, etc for a limited time

I'm just glad people aren't being stupid with this and can actually see the faults in the game, though there is still people saying it's like Battlefield when it isn't.

T rating makes sense. Having a good time with the beta...
