Star Wars Battlefront Bespin DLC: Everything You Need to Know
Get all the details on Bespin's new maps, weapons, Star Cards, Heroes, and Sabotage mode.
Star Wars Battlefront's Bespin expansion launches on June 21 (for some), and now, DICE has released the launch trailer and shared all the key details about it.
Bespin includes five maps set in the Cloud City, including arenas called Administrator's Palace and Carbon-Freezing Chambers. Another map is titled Bioniip Laboratories; it is set in a manufacturing laboratory "where cybernetics and other bio-implants" are made.
The expansion also adds two new Heroes, Lando Calrissian and Dengar, while it introduces a new vehicle, the Cloud Car, as well.
Also included are some new weapons in the form of the X8 Night Sniper and the EE4 blaster. New Star Cards include Scout Binoculars that reveal enemy locations to teammates, a Shock Grenade that freezes enemies in place for a period of time, and another called Disruption. This pushes out a "disruption wave that knocks out enemy blasters, turrets, and droids."

Additionally, Bespin comes with a new mode called Sabotage. Here is the official description:
"The Empire has deployed several tractor beams on the surface of Cloud City that prevents Rebel ships from escaping the planet. In order to power the tractor beams, the Empire makes use of Tibanna Gas Generators that draw from the Tibanna Gas native to Bespin."
Bespin is Battlefront's second paid add-on, following Outer Rim, which came out in March. After Bespin comes Death Star (fall 2016), while the final planned expansion, which currently has no name, will be delivered in early 2017.
As mentioned, Bespin comes out on June 21, but only for people who own the Battlefront DLC pass. Everyone else can buy it two weeks later, beginning on July 5.
