Star Wars: Battlefront Now Free on Xbox One With EA Access
Play the game, then see the movie.
EA today added Star Wars: Battlefront to the EA Access free game vault on Xbox One. That means all subscribers can play the complete game as much as they want, though this is the standard edition, so it doesn't come with any add-ons.
Battlefront's arrival in the EA Access free game vault comes just days before Star Wars: Rogue One comes to theaters on December 16. The game's Rogue One tie-in DLC, Rogue One: Scarif, launched on December 6 for some players, adding content and characters from the movie.
Battlefront was confirmed to join the "Vault" of free games back in October.
There is no word on if Battlefront will be added to Origin Access, which is a version of EA Access for PC. No version of EA Access is available on PlayStation 4.

EA Access costs $5/month or $30/year. Benefits include access to expanding library of free games, as well as the ability to play EA-published games before their release. Members also save 10 percent on all EA digital content.
Battlefront is the 39th game in the EA Access free game vault. You can see all the EA Access and Origin Access games here.
A Battlefront sequel is coming out in 2017. It hasn't been formally announced, but EA has said it'll be "much bigger" than the first game and feature content from "the new movies."
