Star Wars Battlefront's Outer Rim Expansion Now Available for Everyone to Buy
No longer exclusive to Season Pass owners.
Following its two-week exclusivity period for Star Wars Battlefront Season Pass owners, the sci-fi shooter's Outer Rim expansion is now available for everyone to buy.

Available for $15, Outer Rim adds four new multiplayer maps (Jabba's Palace, Palace Garage, SoroSuub Refinery, and SoroSuub Pipelines), as well as a new mode called Extraction.
Also included with the DLC are two new hero characters, Greedo and Nien Nunb, as well as more weapons in the form of the Relby V-10 rifle and DT-12 blaster pistol. Additionally, Outer Rim adds new Scatter Gun, Dioxis Grenade, and Adrenaline Stim Star Cards, as well as a level cap increase to 60 and a new Spectator mode.
You can see a full rundown of new features here on the EA Star Wars website.
Outer Rim is Battlefront's first expansion. Three further add-ons will follow, including Bespin (summer 2016), Death Star (fall 2016), and an untitled expansion coming in early 2017. All are included with the $50 Battlefront DLC pass or can be purchased individually.
