Star Wars Disneyland Attractions to be Detailed by Harrison Ford in TV Special
The Park Side.
One of the big announcements at Disney's D23 expo last year was the Star Wars-themed "lands" that are planned for the company's marquee parks in California and Florida. Further details about these plans are to be revealed by Harrison Ford during a Disney anniversary TV special next month.

The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60 airs on Sunday, February 21 on ABC. The show will look back on six decades of Disney, and ABC have confirmed that Ford will provide more details about the ambitious Star Wars themeparks as part of the show.
At D23 in August, Disney chief executive Bob Iger explained that the Star Wars lands would be spread across 13 acres each and would be the "largest single-themed land expansions ever."
Iger described how the parks would transport "guests to a never-before-seen planet" and "a remote trading port," among other places. Last month it was reported that a significant part of Disneyland in Anaheim, California, would be shutting imminently to make way for the construction of the Star Wars park.
Several pieces of concept art were also released last year. Check them out below:
