Star Wars Galaxies beta sign-ups

Sony Online Entertainment is now accepting applications to participate in the beta test for Star Wars Galaxies, its upcoming online role-playing game set in the Star Wars universe. To submit an application, visit the official Star Wars Galaxies Web site. Sony plans to begin beta testing on July 15.

Star Wars Galaxies will let players create and play as a character in the Star Wars universe. The game is in development at Verant Interactive, the studio that created the groundbreaking massively multiplayer online role-playing game EverQuest, and it is scheduled for release near the end of 2002.
