Star Wars Galaxies trailer released

Sony Online Entertainment has released a video trailer for its upcoming massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars Galaxies. The trailer, which was first shown behind closed doors at the E3 2001 game convention last May, shows off several of the different Star Wars characters, creatures, and environments that will be featured in the game.

Star Wars Galaxies is in development at Verant Interactive, the studio that created the popular online role-playing game EverQuest, and it is scheduled for release in 2002. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
